The stand is also very nice, it is the best monitor stand I have used.
Be aware the screen is glossy, (which I happen to like) and that sometimes they arrive in a test mode that is easily cleared by selecting "factory reset" from the menu.

Both arrived in perfect condition, with zero dead/stuck pixel, and near-zero backlight hour. Pro: excellent picture quality, with sharp texts; deep and vibrant colors, and no ghosting in games. The design is quite stylish and the construction solid. The picture remains great despite using the D-Sub connector (I had an HDMI compatibility issue). Portrait/landscape mode. very bright--I had to dial the brightness down to 15. Con: the reflective screen is responsible for the vibrant colors, but the reflection may bother some, plus it shows any smudge on the screen (don't cough or sneeze in front of the screen). No DVI. Somewhat limited viewing angles due to TN panel. Ugly, generic decal. Overall impression: Lexus quality at Hyundai price. Far superior to my Samsung 2433bw.

Once I figured that out everything was a breeze. AND it can rotate around vertical AND horizontal axes. don't rely on speakers.

Reviews & Ratings for Factory Refurbished 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor Although one is somewhat sceptical when they purchase a refurbished unit, I wasvery pleased with the result of this purchase. The unit proved to be alike in every sense, to it's more commonly reconginized sister with the Logo on the bottom of the monitor. All of the reviews I had read concerning the unit proved to be true. The Speakers offered little to appreciate, but I use a seperate system for sound and earphones when I edit so this was of little concern. And the screen is "Bright", WOW. You need to step it down, although I work in well lighted area and the adjustment internally of the monitor to the exsisting light in the room works well. The glare of the screen does not present any problems when faced away from any windows and the quality of the contrast reproduction is excellent. To be able to purchase a "24" monitor of this quality at the price offered by PC Connection was a "slam dunk" in value for the money. I would recommend to all that are looking for a value at this size of a monitor.

The image is significantly better using the HDMI input vs the VGA. The screen is reflective which will bother some people if there is back light in the room. In portrait mode, there is poor visibility off angle from the left, which is a little bothersome. Otherwise its a great monitor, and a great value.

I downloaded the drivers and management software from HP's site and everything seems to work great. Being refurbished and 'debranded' I was concerned that there would be flaws and/or dead pixels. If there are any I can't find them! Very happy with this purchase. I cannot find a single negative thing to say.
