LOVED IT. GAVE PC TO MY HUSBAND AND ORDERED THE IMAC. DIDN'T REALLY LIKE WIRED KEYBOARD AND MOUSE SO GOT BOTH WIRELESS. IMAC IS THE PERFECT MACHINE.

The computer itself performs performs admirably, and with 4GB of RAM and VM Ware Windows XP also runs well. I would like to be able to add a 1TB HDD myself for under $200 rather than paying $500+ for the upgrade. I guess that I will just have to have external HDDs (which isn't much of a problem).

I stayed with XP as long as I could, but my partner had an Apple laptop, and using it convinced me to try a Mac. I had a desktop that was almost five years old, and was having issues. The iMac 24 worked out of the box, and the more I use it, the easier it is to get a feel for the intuitive way it interacts with me. I'm still using MS Office for Mac, but the al-in-one is fabulous, Apple tech support has been great the time I called, and the speed with which things load and respond to me is a welcome change from Microsoft's incessant pop-up messages for the same thing over and over.

You can organize photos, make movies, which you can either upload to your website, you tube, ipod, etc. with one click or make a DVD for your TV. I love the Mac because it's intuitive and I don't need to read manuals. Everything I use on this computer is easy to use and easy to set up, even without much computer knowledge. The commercials for Mac are true and I have my family sold on having Mac's now. I utilize dashboard constantly and am thankful for the time machine backup. Finally the customer service with Apple is like no other electronic company I have ever phoned before. My problems have always been resolved in a timely manner.
