Reviews & Ratings for HP Color LaserJet CP4005dn Printer This printer is built like a tank -- literally. It is HUGE, but if you have the room, this is a great printer. I now print almost everything as two sided since it's so easy (one box to check). The printer has an automatic duplex unit that works great. You do nothing but check that box and it does the rest.
The color isn't quite as good as my Epson R1800 photo printer of course, but it's very good for printing almost all material, especially for business applications.
It prints at about 30 pages per minute, which is pretty fast and seems to handle color at nearly that same speed. The only difference between the HP4005 and our high end color printers is that it doesn't staple the documents, but that's not a big deal for me.
The printer is built for heavy use and continually tells you about the toner levels. It was network ready out of the box, so we could put it anywhere there is an Ethernet connection and share it throughout the workgroup.
