This is a high performance 7-outlet surge protection for network systems. SurgeArrest can detect dangerous wiring problems. SurgeArrest will warn the user if the surge suppression circuitry has been damaged. SurgeArrest will fail-open, meaning subsequent power surges will not reach equipment. SurgeArrest is equipped with a fast-acting fuse for quick reaction against lightning. Also has EMI/RFI filtering. The 330 volt rating is the best UL rating against surges and spikes. The unit features a protection-working LED and a site-warning LED. Comes with a master on/off switch, a 6-foot cord and a 15-amp circuit breaker. It is covered by guaranteed absolute protection plan - up to $100,000 for equipment damaged by surges or spikes for as long as you own the unit.

Reviews & Ratings for Network SurgeArrest, (7) 5-15R Outlets Among low end surge protectors, the specs on this model are a small step up. It is missing features such as phone line protection, Ethernet protection, coax cable protection and some big outlets for transformers. But, in terms of the basic work of a surge protector, this is a step up and a good choice if you don't need these cited features. I compared the detailed specs at APC's website, retailers usually don't offer all the gory techie details.
