The KMEX Optical mouse worked immediately when I plugged it into my computer. It has a nice blue glow. And the price is very reasonable. The bad news is that the mechanics of the buttons are not very smooth and the glow stays on unless the mouse is unplugged or the computer is completely turned off.

If a friend wanted a cheap mouse, I would not hesitate to tell them that this one will most likely work, but has a few drawbacks.
