While it's not as nice-looking as the original Apple unit, this A/C adapter has sufficiently replaced the one that came with my PowerBook G4 17" Aluminum. Even though it was less expensive than any "new-in-box" Apple adapters I found, I still thought it was a little overpriced, but just a little. I do miss the green/orange illumination at the end where the Apple adapter plugged into the laptop, but can live without it. I ordered this and had it shipped Overnight, so I was back in business in less than 24 hours. No complaints.
