This user-replaceable, hot swappable replacement battery is intended for use with the following APC UPS models: BP1000, BP1000I, SU1000, SU1000INET, SU1000NET, SUA1000, SUA1000I, SUA1000US, SUVS1000. Replacing batteries will lower your overall cost by only having to buy the battery and not replace the entire UPS.
APC batteries provide factory-spec performance for your UPS. Off brand batteries may void warranty, may affect UPS voltage regulation, run time, and provide unpredictable results. APC recycles used batteries and almost 100% of the battery lead content is reused, protecting the environment. APC supplies the appropriate instructions for your UPS, along with any needed wires; all connections made with high current gas-tight crimps for high reliability. APC provides a pre-paid return package for used batteries so you won't need to dispose of it. NOTE: Any RBC that exceeds 150 lbs. or heavy weight pickup limits, will not be issued return tags. The customer will be responsible for disposal.
Use of a non-APC battery will void APC's Equipment Protection Policy.

Reviews & Ratings for Replacement Battery Cartridge #6 (RBC6) for SU1000, SU1000NET The battery comes with a shipping label to return the old battery, but removing the old battery can be an issue: at its end-of-life it expands and the plastics become brittle, requiring quite a bit of skill to remove. Moreover, the metal parts of the UPS are sharp. The new battery slides in easily, however. Finally, you need 24 hours to load before the UPS is ready for use.
