Reviews & Ratings for Wireless-G Range Extender I found the installation directions not very clear on one important point. I gave the extended network the same name as my existing network, got conflicting IPs and had a heck of a time un-doing it. The install that finally worked was NOT using the CD, but connecting the unit to my computer and accessing the web admin setup.
Once installed the system DOES extend my range as I hoped, but moving between old and new zones requires manual disconnect and re-connect to available network. I was hoping for seamless automatic re-connects if I moved around the house.

Reviews & Ratings for Wireless-G Range Extender Our unit went dead immediately after it was connected so we returned it and, instead, installed another wired access point. This will give better performance than a range extender anyway. A working model may be an excellent device but we can't recommend anything that arrives DOA.
