The LC65D64U AQUOS raises the bar by fitting a large screen size into a incredibly small footprint. By changing the layout of circuits inside the LCD panel and by cutting the number of parts, Sharp's engineers were able to reduce the depth by 30%, allowing placement of the LC65D64U model in virtually any type setting. The LC65D64U utilizes Sharp’s proprietary Advanced Super View/Black TFT Panel with multi-pixel technology, providing 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio with Enhanced Picture Contrast Technology and 4ms response time. The LC65D64U is a HDTV with built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners and include 3 HDMI inputs, compatible with 1080p signals, a PC input and 2 HD component video inputs. Side terminals are included for convenience as well as RS-232C input for control. The LC65D64U features a sleek piano black cabinet with subtle, recessed bottom-mounted speakers.

Reviews & Ratings for 65" LCD HDTV 1080p My family has had this tv for around 6 months. Despite it's large size, it can be wall mounted, or be used with the pedestal base. Sharp has been making lcd tv's for years, and for an LCD of this size, this is easily the best deal. Although it doesn't have the 120hz refresh rate, I have found it still handle's motion and sports adequately. Color distribution on the panel is good, and the black level is quite good for a tv of this size. Very happy with it.
