Reviews & Ratings for 4-Port StarView USB KVM Switch, EXCLUSIVE - Save $25 I bought this KVM to switch between my Mac laptop and two Mac servers. It works great, switching its pretty quick and easy. The monitor output is excellent (though I did have to set my LCD monitor to auto-adjust before it looked great). I did buy the external power adapter so that it didn't rely on the USB power connection- and I haven't had any issues. I would definitely get this again if I needed another one.

Reviews & Ratings for 4-Port StarView USB KVM Switch, EXCLUSIVE - Save $25 I receive the KVM without the power adapter and PC Connection immediately sent an replacement. The KVM works like a charm, easy to setup, just remember you have to have special cables for the monitor. They don't come with the unit.

Pros: very fast, easy to use Cons: 4 port lacks power supply, no keyboard controls
Reviews & Ratings for 4-Port StarView USB KVM Switch, EXCLUSIVE - Save $25 I purchased this to replace a Belkin that failed. My desktops would not recognize the Belkin when booting, and would always hang at the BIOS unless I selected another device. The Starview does not have this problem. The Belkin would always take about 30 seconds to detect when selecting another workstation. The Starview takes about 1 second. I like the metal construction. This is a heavy, solidly built, unit. My only complaint is my keyboard has a built in 2 port USB HUB. The Starview would not initialize the keyboard with only 2 computers connected. I had to dig up a 5 volt power supply to resolve the problem. I found an old Netgear supply that worked. Presumably, if you have 4 computers connected, it will derive enough power.
