5-Port 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch with Auto Uplink

The FS105 Fast Ethernet switch brings the 100Mbps switching technology in a compact form factor to your small office. The switch features 5 10/100 RJ-45 ports to segment networks for improved performance, enabling the most demanding multimedia and imaging applications. Since each port is auto-speed-sensing, individual hubs or directly attached servers can easily be upgraded from 10 to 100Mbps, which makes future migration to 100Mbps simple. The switch has other easy to use features. It needs no configuration software, and is Plug and Play compatible. It also features easy to read status LEDs so troubleshooting your connection is a breeze. This protocol-independent switch is compatible with all leading networks and provides support for up to 8,000 MAC addresses, so it supports networks that have many users. No fan means no noise, which helps maintain a peaceful atmosphere in your busy office.

I have own Netgear stuff all the way back to when they changed their name from Bay Networks. This is a great switch. I often use it to extend a network or copy files from one stand alone computer to another. It has a strong outside case and I love its durability.
No gb port, but that should be fine for most users.

Extremely easy to install and use. Read the instructions, but did not really need to.
