Reviews & Ratings for 500GB Barracuda ES 7200.2 SATA 3.5" Hard Drives - 32MB Cache (20-pack) This is a very nice drive, been using it for eight weeks with no problems. Quiet and very fast, at least 50% faster than my last drive, system loads faster. And I am using it in the 150 bit per sec mode because of my older MB, the 300 bps mode should just scream. The only "con", is that it may be a bit pricey, (over the standard model) but I bought it because I wanted something "better" than the standard unit. The 5 year warranty gives me a bit more confidence, I tend to keep my PC's for over 5 years.
