I'm using it as the second drive (user data) on a PowerMac G5, and I've already got it 70% filled. The G5 puts it to sleep when inactive, and there's a small wakeup delay before data flows, but in regular use it's as fast as other drives (maybe even faster - love that 32MB cache!)
Do I like it? Heck yes!... I'll be buying another shortly!

I thought that the green drive would be slow, but I as I am using it for backup only, that was not an issue. I was looking for the low idle power draw. I can take or leave the whole GREEN thing, but my ASUS Motherboard utilizes Green Tech, so what the heck, I matched it up with a HD that does too. It is not lightning quick, but great for what I do and the noise level is a tad high, but again, not anything annoying.
I would buy another if I need one in the future as the price is good for the 1TB size.
