I got the 13" aluminum MacBook primarily for travel. I was looking for a portable machine with built in cd / dvd drive and enough horsepower to process photos on location. The 2.4 GHz MacBook meets all my requirements flawlessly.

This is a nice improvement over my previous black Macbook - graphics performance is MUCH better and the case is sturdier. I miss the Firewire port, but only a bit so far. I'm not sure why Apple needed to change the video out port again - since I ahd to buy ANOTHER video out adapter to work with my 23" apple cinema display.
