There was no "get used to it" time at all. We have one on a mac and the compatibility was fantastic it is much better than the little white mac keyboard. You will not be disappointed with the comfort of the key board it is fantastic.

Ergonomically better than all the other keyboards we've tried. Just enough "wave" to be comfortable and without an awkward adjustment period.
Low battery indicator for keyboard and mouse. Logitech software has never crashed and you can use just the keyboard or mouse alone without problems.

It's got just enough of an ergonomic shape to be comfortable without taking a lot of getting used to. The wrist rest below the keyboard is similarly ergonomically shaped and just a little padded, so it conforms to my hands "just right."
I've tried wireless keyboards and mice before and have always been a little disappointed by their responsiveness. But this keyboard and mouse keeps up just fine...and I'm a pretty fast typist. I haven't yet tried the programmable keys on the keyboard yet...that's my next step.
