The antenna assembly consists of mast-mounted high gain directional antennas for the PCS and CEL bands with a band selective combiner to a single coax feed to the base unit. The YX029-PCS-CEL dual-band outdoor signal antenna system allows your Wi-Ex cell phone signal booster to provide a larger area of improved indoor signal strength and improve indoor performance where weak outdoor cell signals exist. The antenna operates with signals in both the 800 MHz Cellular and the 1900 MHz PCS bands. The YX029-PCS-CEL dual-band antenna system consists of two antennas, a Yagi (beam type) antenna for Cellular, a Panel antenna for the PCS band. An antenna combiner is included to combine the signals from the two antennas onto one coax for connection to the Wi-Ex Base Unit. An 18" coaxial jumper is included to connect the Panel antenna to the Combiner.

Reviews & Ratings for Upgrade Antenna This antenna dramatically improved the performance of the zBoost PCS/CELL Extender by a factor of at least 5 times when carefully aimed. I went from having no service inside the house to having 5 bars signal sternth and being able to have near normal cell/PCS calls. However, I had to get the antenna at/above the treetops and aimed precisely at the cell tower. This is a painstaking process and may not be for everyone. In my case, I HAD to get the antenna 10' above the roof to get practical service. I have AT&T service and live in the Poconos where service in the summer was nonexistant (due to trees leafing out) and only marginal from the 3rd. floor in the winter months. If you need to extend cell service very far from the main unit, I would Suggest using the GE Cell Fusion (which links to 2 BlueTooth Cell Phones) and provides service throughout my property. zBoost used with Cell Fusion was my only answer to use my cell phone all around my house and yard. This is a terrific combination!
