Unit is simple and easy to work. I have used Olympic for a long time and this product is much easier to use. The dragon software that came along was a real plus.

I think the digital voice recorder is a great product that is easy to use, and serves as an MP3 player also. The display is clear, the options are easy to understand and remember and I like the "add to an existing memo" feature. It comes with transcription software that is also a great time saver.

Pros: runs off ac power too
Cons: none

Reviews & Ratings for Digital Voice Recorder 512MB
Months ago I bought the least expensive $59 Sony model at Best Buy and was disappointed, not in its function but in the fact that the batteries don't last long. The new IC recorder can run off AC power and charge the batteries simultaneously. But you need to buy the AC/USB adapter. That alone makes it worth the extra price in my view. PC Connection had the most competitive price, and with 10 years + of dealing with these folks and their great service, it was a no-brainer.
