Out of the box this laptop works well, but the Vista operating system is abit of a dog. I spent another $50 on upgrading the RAM to 4GB to handle Vista. Ended up with a system thats better than my desktop for a quarter of the price. Had to jump thru quite a few hoops to get Vista to talk to my two XP boxes on my network.
