Reviews & Ratings for 4GB PC2-5300 200-pin DDR2 SDRAM SODIMM Kit for Select MacBook, iMac Models After receiving this RAM upgrade kit I got called out of town at the last minute and had about 3 minutes to figure out how to do it. Strap on the ground strap so I don't zap anything. Lay the memory cards on the antistatic pad. Flip over the MacBook -- must be under the battery. Remove the battery. Look at the Chinese cartoons that look like a guy unscrewing three screws and inserting memory cards. While touching the metal to discharge any static, I unscrew the screws. Pop out the old cards. Pop in the new ones. Screw in the screws. Replace the battery. Boot it up. It works. Turn it off and run to the airport. Couldn't be much easier.
