Reviews & Ratings for MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse First off, I am a video producer/animator so i use this with adobe premiere and after effects a LOT. it is great to be able to scrub through tons of video in premiere with one flick of the wheel. In after effects you can program all the buttons for different keystroke combos so it is VERY useful for me on a daily basis. I've had 3 or 4 of these mice and they are amazing. I currently use one at work on a PC and one at home on a MAC and whenever i have to use a different machine, i HAVE to take my mouse with me. Anything else just seems sub-par. The first one i had i dropped on the tile floor in my kitchen and it broke the piece of plastic that holds the freewheel in place... it was still usable but just not the same. I contacted Logitech and they were VERY helpful and replaced it at no charge even though it was my fault! The one i have at home now i have dropped 10+ times on the same tile floor and thankfully it is still going strong! The only reason this got a 4* overall rating from me is that the wheel is a little too sensitive when in click to click mode on the mac. There is probably a way to fix it it just hasn't bothered me THAT much yet. Absolutely worth every penny you will spend on it.

I had some issues installing the Logitech software but the forums resolved the issue.
I don't end up using the side scroll wheel all that much but the mouse is excellent. Great battery life, response time, decent software.

Reviews & Ratings for MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse I have used previous Logitech wireless mice, and this has the best RF link, with no hesitation or glitches like some of the others. The new Revolution scroll wheel function is really useful and timesaving, and the extra center button and side wheel are handy too.
I highly recommend downloading the free uberoptions (search for it) to get more control over the assignment of the various buttons. I do a lot of CAD work and the Logitech software didn't have support for a center button. Uberoptions let me assign the top button and clicking the scroll wheel to the missing center button function. Now I can pan and 3D rotate again.
