We purchase the SpaceExplorer, along with SpaceNavigator and SpacePilot. We allow our employees to chose the option that best fits their needs. This option is great for CAD designers that are just learning how to work in 3D, or don't want a lot of "bells and whistles".
Once our designers become familiar with the technology, they usually want to move up to the SpaceExplorer or SpacePilot.
It's a great product and well made.

Reviews & Ratings for SpaceNavigator SE 3D Navigation Device, USB This is a very nice 3D controller. I bought it for one of our engineers, a SoildWorks CAD user. He had one at his last job, so he wanted one here too. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box, it is heavy, very solid. I used it for Google Earth, very nice. There is a personal version also (Item #: 7308016) for half the price, same product.
