Reviews & Ratings for 11" Digital Photo Frame with 1GB Memory Included After exhaustive spec reviews and "store lurking" I settled on this unit by Aluratek. I was looking for a larger display to catch my Mom's attention - the resolution on this unit (1024 x 780) was larger than most and it doesn't have an annoying dot (the eye for the remote) front and center like so many others. I REALLY like the timer function - it allows you to set the on/off, which is a great thing for elderly folks who might forget to even turn it on. I was hoping it might automatically start the slideshow upon startup, but you still need to hit a button on the remote to start it each time. Good picture adjustments (brightness, color, saturation, etc...) - It will automatically play a list of MP3's when you start the slideshow too. It takes most all flash card types and the interface to select sources and functions is pretty straightforward. No complaints - looks great, works well - what more can you ask?
