The HP Color LaserJet 5550dtn is based on a 533MHz RISC processor, and comes with 288MB of upgradeable memory for seamless printing of even the most complex color files. It prints color documents and black and white documents at a maximum of 27 pages per minute. HP PCL 6, PCL 5c, native PDF printing and PostScript 3 emulation also enhance the 5550dtn's performance and make for better color accuracy. It's print mechanism’s design results in excellent uniformity
and color plane registration.
The LaserJet 5550dtn comes standard with a 100-sheet multipurpose tray and two 500-sheet feeder trays. Automatic duplex printing provides fast, professional two-sided communications. Network ready thanks to its embedded JetDirect 620n print server, it is perfect for your workgroup.

Pros: awesome quality of color, duplexing feature is flawless Cons: not enough memory out the door - upgrade to 512mb, a bit large heavy
Reviews & Ratings for HP Color LaserJet 5550dtn Printer This machine is awesome if you're printing booklets, flyers and any documents requiring color. I recommend upgrading the memory to 512 (up from the 288mb) for those large print jobs.
We have 3 of these in our Support Center and they do the job. Bulky, but smooth the 5550dtn gets the job done.
