You know what they say about good things and small packages. But when something 1.62 inches long and about half an ounce holds up to 240 songs, good and small don’t quite cut it. Especially when you can listen to your music for up to 12 continuous hours. In fact, iPod shuffle just may the biggest thing in small.
Clip it to your coin pocket. Clip it to your bag. No matter where you clip your skip-free iPod shuffle, you’ll have instant access to music. And iPod shuffle’s anodized aluminum silver enclosure lets you put some color on. The first step to wearing 240 songs on your iPod shuffle is downloading iTunes free. Then you can download 99 songs from the iTunes Store or import music from your CDs. When it’s time to sync, plug the included dock into your Mac or PC’s USB port and transfer your music from iTunes just by docking iPod shuffle.
Got more than 240 songs in your iTunes library? No problem. Let iTunes autofill your iPod shuffle and get a new musical experience every time. Pop follows jazz. Rock follows rap. iPod shuffle loves to improvise. Take the Shuffle switch, for instance. Even if you’ve synced a particular playlist, you can shuffle songs with a flick.

Millie demonstrates the ease of the clip on feature!
Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation The iPod Shuffle is helping me be well read! I own a pet treat bakery where it can be very noisy with equipment operating on a continuous basis. To block the noise & break the monotony, I upload audiobooks onto my shuffle. It's so much easier to upload & reload books on the shuffle as opposed to the bulky iPod. I just clip it on, hit play & bake away!

Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation This form factor is perfect for anyone that moves around and already carries too much stuff with them...specifically a runner or athlete.
It takes a bit of adjusting to not be able to see what you are listening to, but you get used to it after awhile.

Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation Really like the shuffle. Easy to carry while working out vs. the larger model. Like that it clips to clothing and really holds on as well. Can hold plenty of music for a workout.

Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation I have enjoyed this item and use it almost daily. The sound quality is good. The ease of functions is good. The only issue I have ever had is that sometimes the item will not be recognized by my mac - it will not update and charge. All in all it is durable and easy to navigate music while running and working out.

Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation i have had much experience with the many genreations of ipods, and out of all of them i believe this is best used for the kind of person that is always on the go as well as someone who does something involving extreme sports or construction because this is one tough ipod.
Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation This iPod shuffle is so easy to use with iTunes. Just drag and drop the music you want onto it and you're good to go in a few minutes. The small form factor and clip on the back make it great for use during running, cooking, biking, or just walking. Wonderful iPod.

Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation My wife hinted that this would be a worthy birthday gift. She wanted her Gym time to be more entertaining and was not interested in other functions, such as videos or podcasts. The small size and light weight does not get in her way when she does weights or the elliptical glider. Simple to use, she loaded it with her favorite tunes. Battery life is excellent. The product is reliable and durable. Its color reminds her of her birthstone, opal. Now she truly marches to the beat of a different drummer.

Pros: small size, integrated clip design Cons: lack of nike+ capability
Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation Like the other reviewers, I use a shuffle primarily for running. The size & integrated clip design make it perfect for clipping onto a waistband, collar, or shirtsleeve... mine gets clipped inside the pocket of my running shorts & I have no problem using the controls through the fabric with it's raised click ring. I only fill it with songs that I've pre-selected as good for running, so I have no problem with the lack of screen, I wouldn't want to stop the momentum of a run to mess around picking songs anyway. One feature I really would like to see on a shuffle would be integration with the Nike+ system for workout tracking. This seems like it would be a match made in heaven for all the shuffle-owning runners out there, although I'm sure it would result in compromises in the price & hardware size that make this model so appealing to begin with.

Pros: small and lightweight, clips on and stays, holds plenty of songs for an hour of running, easy to use Cons: can't charge on the nano cord
Reviews & Ratings for iPod shuffle 1GB - Silver (Sept 07) 2nd Generation I love it! I have had a Nano for years now, but as I've gotten more and more into running, the weight of the Nano, as well as the need to have running shorts with a pocket for it, has been bothering me. I ordered the Shuffle, and it only took me a few minutes to figure out how to only load my running mix on it. I can clip it on and go! I don't need to know what's playing, as I like to be "surprised" by the next song when I run. The only thing I don't like is that it can't be charged with my Nano cord, which I leave plugged into the computer. Now I have to plug and unplug the Shuffle charger, but it's not a deal breaker at all!
