Having been disappointed with ink jet color printers and the costly replacement of cartridges, I was determined to find a color laser to replace my HP 5L. The CLP-315W is a great choice.

I will still use Walgreens or another online service to print photos. As a printer for standard paper sizes it is great. For 4x6 it doesn't work easily.

Setting up the wireless was relatively painless. If you have an extra network cable, you can connect it directly to a router without much problem. The amount of documentation is sparse. One can go to Samsung's web site to download various pdf and drivers.

The best part of the "smart" panel software is it shows how much toner is left in the start up cartridges. Since we do very little printing, I am not worried about the toner "drying out" like an ink jet would.

If don't print often, this printer is excellent. If you want to use different sized paper at different times, maybe look elsewhere. I love the low noise.

The printer was easy to setup and the wireless feature gives the printer a great mobility feature. Its quality was well suited for my needs.
