Reviews & Ratings for HL-4070CDW Color Laser Printer Of all of the printers that I have purchased through the years, this has thus far been the easiest to set up. I have Windows XP. The disc that comes with the printer gives step by step instructions on everything from beginning to end. It is so easy a child could set it up.
The print quality for documents is great. Regular toner cartridges allow for about 1500 sheets whereas the hi-yield cartridges allow for around 5000 sheets according to Cartridge world. The toner prices are pretty reasonable as well. Around $60 to $80 for regular toner ink and about the same for getting them refilled with hi-yield ink.
All in all, this printer has met my expectations. I would recommend this one over other leading namebrand printers.

Reviews & Ratings for HL-4070CDW Color Laser Printer Had to return my HP3605 color laser duplex printer - Costco took it back even though HP bailed on me after only about 8 months. It had ghosting issues very early on. HL4070 has been working great...though it does dim the lights when starting up! Overall, more reliable and faster than the HP it replaced at about the same price.

Reviews & Ratings for HL-4070CDW Color Laser Printer That's right. It was a straight forward (RTFM) exercise to set up the Brother on my wireless home network (Linksys router). It prints brilliant colors (with the right color laser jet paper, of course). It is the best bang for money, considering that 18 years ago I paid $1,200 for a monochrome HP Laserjet IIP (my first Personal LaserJet printer). I also have a 5 years old Brother HL-1450 (Monochrome) that is still humming along. At this rate, I might as well pledge my loyalty to Brother printers for life.

Reviews & Ratings for HL-4070CDW Color Laser Printer This masterfully designed unit prints flawlessly, color-consistent and with a good duplex. Paper jambs are miniscule - better than I've ever used. The only less-than perfect marks go to the Toner life - good but not great. If high capacity toner was only used I'd rate it extraordinary in every sense.
