This is a replacement battery cartridge (RBC) for the following UPS models: BP650, BP650PNP, BP650C and SUVS650. This RBC is user replaceable and hot swappable. Each RBC is a complete set of tested and charged batteries. With the purchase of each RBC, you will also get free freight back to APC for the disposal of your used batteries in the U.S.
APC batteries provide factory-spec performance for your UPS. Off brand batteries may void warranty, may affect UPS voltage regulation, run time, and provide unpredictable results. APC recycles used batteries and almost 100% of the battery lead content is reused, protecting the environment. APC supplies the appropriate instructions for your UPS, along with any needed wires; all connections made with high current gas-tight crimps for high reliability. APC provides a pre-paid return package for used batteries so you won't need to dispose of it. NOTE: Any RBC that exceeds 150 lbs. or heavy weight pickup limits, will not be issued return tags. The customer will be responsible for disposal.
Use of a non-APC battery will void APC's Equipment Protection Policy.

I have always used genuine APC batteries and have never been disappointed. PC Connection had the battery in stock (and an easy-to-use online facility for finding the right battery), and by far the best price of the online retailers I tried, and even better than buying from APC direct. Also the shipping, which can be expensive on a heavy item like a battery, was quite reasonable. I ordered and got the battery in about three days. Installation was a snap, and APC includes a label for free return shipping of the old battery for recycling. When my other APC unites need batteries, my first stop will be PC Connection.
