Reviews & Ratings for 250GB Momentus 7200.3 SATA II Internal Hard Drive Definitely fast, much faster than my old Hitachi TravelStar. It doesn't really affect battery life though, which was one of my main concerns. It does tend to make a rather loud ticking noise though when intermittently accessing data, it is certainly not as quiet. I can take a little noise though for the improved performace.
