Reviews & Ratings for 16x 4.7GB DVD-R White Inkjet Hub Printable Media (25-pack Spindle) If I find a better DVD I'll let you know, but for now these are the best. First, it's really had to find one that will print all the way to the middle. That really maximizes the printable area. You can read the Verbatim and DVD-R underneath the white, but once you print over it you can't really notice that. This disc is also really durable. There are very few discs where you can scratch either side and the disc can survive. This one has the metal part the actually holds the data in between two layers of plastic. Cheap discs have that on the top layer so if you have a small scratch then much of the data is toast. We use these for backing up data, delivering printed ones to clients, and just about everything in between. 2 things could be better. Don't want to see the brand and disc type through the white, and it would be nice if they made a glossy "photo type gloss" finish on one like this.
