I decided to purchase a flat screen ViewSonic for my sister for her birthday this July 2009. I could not resist purchasing one for myself too. We couldn't believe how easy it was to hook them up and use. I am so impressed and so very happy I made the decision to buy these monitors. I searched for weeks, researched many brands, read many reviews and decided ViewSonic would be the best brand and the best price for our needs. It reduces eye strain and I understand they are more energy effecient than the old crt. Family and friends are impressed with it too. Because I'm tall, I had to put mine on a thick phone book because it does not adjust in height, but I do it willingly. It's much easier for me to see than the old crt. No glare, no background reflection on screen and can see it very welll in a sunlit room. Yes..I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Only thing is that it got scratched while i was out of town ... so i have a few black dots on white pages.. <:( But I understand that is the nature of this group of moitors ... no matter who makes them.. I'd buy another ....
