The automatic configuration did not get the color adjustment how I would have liked but that is configurable. The stand is sturdy enough but is a plastic clip system and could be prone to being snapped. Also the stand is attached to the bottom of the monitor rather than in the middle. This is only a pain to me because I need to take the stand off. Still a great monitor for the deal I got.

When adjust to highest resolution the vertical screen is higher than the visible screen that makes you can not see the blue bar (where you can minimize, close....). Even you adjust the vertical adjust bottom still will not work. So I have to downgrade to lower resolution.
It is happened as worried! The 1st day there is not dead dot on screen. The 3rd day and there after, there was a red bar about 1 CM long vertically at top of screen which apparently are dead dots. What can I complain for product for such low price?

The picture quality is great and I've had no issues whatsoever since I got it. However, the monitor I currently have was a replacement because the first one that came was not working. Apparently the backlight for the screen was not working properly and so I had to ship it back. The replacement process was easy and the customer service rep was very nice and helpful. Other than that small incident, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this monitor to anyone looking to buy one.

Most, if not all, of the other reviews state that the speakers are sub-par. I cannot verify as I have a 7.1 system I use instead so I didn't even try them. My overall rating is a 4 only because of 3 dead pixles in the upper left corner. Not really visible unless you look right at them but they are there.

I spent too much time trying to get it to work since there was a flicker of a picture. The return and replacement through PC Conection was fast and painless. The second monitor fired right up. There are two dead pixels which I only noticed because I was looking for them. I don't use the speakers so I cannot comment about them.

Well the saying is true, you get what you pay for. My unit had dead pixels that were *permanently stuck on white*, making it extremely annoying to use and pretty much worthless in my view.
The reason I gave 5 stars is not for the unit, it's for PC Connection which gave me outstanding customer service.... they took the unit back promptly, even paid for the return shipping, and gave me a FULL refund.
So no, I would not recommend this cheap monitor. But I DO recommend PC Connection wholeheartedly and will gladly buy from them again in the future.
I'm thinking my next purchase will be a Samsung ToC LCD with built in HDTV tuner. I saw one and the quality is fantastic. Yes it's expensive, but after this experience with the Soyo, I decided not to be such a tightwad and shell out the dough if I want a quality product.

Quality of picture and easy to use. Sound quality is also okay for casual listener. I rarely watch movies on PC so I dont need great sound anyway. Base stand is fixed you cant increase height but that did not bother me. Over all, I would buy again if needed or can recommend to others.

It isn't the best monitor out there, but it definitely gets the job done. I don't play games on it, so I don't know how well it performs that way, but for what I do (software development) it is perfect (so far).

I have two broken pixels, but I think the lady said i needed 5 for a return. Only complaint is that is not super easy to change the volume. You have to press menu and then use the arrow buttons.The buttons are at the bottom which are not easy to see. Definitely worth the money i would pay 160 dollars for it.:)

Not a single dead pixel.
For the price I was expecting one much more cheaply made. It's nice, and has a good user interface. It sets up in an instant and the auto adjust takes care of everything if you don't want to fiddle with the buttons.
