MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive
Evolution is good. From one solid piece of aluminum comes a MacBook that’s thin and light, beautifully streamlined, and durable. The seamless glass and instant full screen brightness of the 13.3-inch LED-backlit display make everything you see flat-out spectacular... including the display itself. Snow Leopard v10.6 is also included.
Advanced nVidia integrated graphics provide more responsive gameplay and more realistic 3D environments, while the redesigned multi-touch trackpad has even more room and the entire trackpad is also the button so it's clickable everywhere.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive I think the 13 inch aluminum MacBook (current model called Pro) is the best compromise in the Apple portable line. Not much heavier than the Air, and comparable to the 15 inch Pro which I have. The bright LED screen of the Pro models is a must, at least after a certain age. I bought this for an aunt who does not have a computer - can't even imagine the hassle of installing Windows for a person who is not a certified hacker.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive I looked everywhere and this is the best deal for an apple computer you will find. These were released as the first unibody macbook in late 2008. Mid 2009 they came out with the same one but they are much more expensive. This computer was $1500-1600 when it came out and they are selling it for ~30% less then that. It's a no brainer! Everything is pretty much the same as the new ones except the new ones are called macbook pros and the battery life is better on the new ones (8 hours compared to 4). They ship with snow leopard and come with 1 year apple care. I had to call apple and email them my proof of purchase to get the full year but they fixed it no problem. You could go spend $1500 plus tax on the new 2.53 Ghz mac or save $450 plus tax and get basically the same one. They also have the 15" ones for only $250 more might be worth it in my opinion.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive I love the keyboard on this little guy. It just comes to hand so easily. And the smaller size is really nice for travel. It's a pleasure to use, all things considered.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive overall the laptop was good. i found the processor speed was slower than i expected. if i were to do it again, i would buy a macbook pro.
the battery is misleading. on a full charge it will display over 4 hours of use. however, it's not the true time. when you're on it for 1/2 hour, it drops down to 3 hours and next thing you know the red battery alert comes on. i don't think i have fully used it for the full amount of time that it has indicated. my settings are not at the max energy-wasting settings either. i usually use the screen brightness around 25% and my setting to save energy are at peak settings.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive This is a great purchase and well worth the money. I love the backlit keyboard for those low light or night situations using the laptop. The aluminum enclosure is beautiful and seams very sturdy and tough. It's a very sleek computer that I enjoy carrying around and using in public. The performance is good and it is faster than my old black macbook. I like the glass trackpad and support for gestures is nice as well when working with photos. The battery life is a little less than the previous generation macbooks which would make it my only complaint.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive Great to finally see the MB line of computers get some of the pro features. Aluminum case, backlight keyboard. Build quality is quite good. It's a shame however that FireWire is missing, the new multitouch trackpad take a little getting used to, but overall great computer.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive The macbook is a great product for anyone who wants to put together slide show movies. We have struggles for years trying to do this with a PC. It normally took the combination of 4 or 5 products to do what can be accomplished easily with the iLife suite. If you have an external monitor and keyboard the regular macbook will suit your needs without the added expense of the macbook pro.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive Ive had a HP PAvilion Laptop for a very long time now. I now have to buy a new computer because it got run over by a car. Now, at first I was mad, but then I was glad because I could now buy a new laptop. So, I went researching on the internet for a new PC. Every single one was like from $600-$1000. When I read the specs, lets just say, you get what you pay for. The specs were not all too great. Plus, the appearance of all the PC's were not attractive to me. Also, you have to pay for all those virus protection programs to protect you from the 200,000 virus for PC's. So I thought to switch to a new type of computer, a Mac. So, I went on too several websites and found that even though they were more expensive, they had better performance, awsome looks, good specs, etc. When I went to MAcconnection.com, I saw that they had the best prices. When I saw the Macbook, I fell in love with it. I have been raising money and working my butt off to get the new 13" Macbook for about 4 months now. And now I have bought it and it is amazing. Mac's are the best, especially the Macbook. So, if you are thinking about buying another Macbook or your first Macbook, I would recommend the 13" MAcbook.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive Light weight, yet powerful. Purchased for my daughter who is not a computer nerd. Its reliable, has fewer (almost no) virus issues to worry about and preloaded with great software. The ability to upgrade the hard drive and ram is easy (I will do it). I have had mac laptops for years and only a few things go bad: 1. Trauma: if you drop it frequently things break (get the extended warranty, definitely worth it) 2. The hard drive or optical drive can fail. The hard drive replacement is easy.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive I have been a PC guy for the longest time; however after getting more into photo and video editing, a Mac was a must. Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive First time apple user. Superb quality. Love the Speed, LED lights, the Screen, but am not used to the lack of available software, and software price. I am speaking of equivalent windows based software.
Overall, I am very happy with Macbook and would recommend it to anyone as PERSONAL laptop.
Cheers,

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive I have never had a computer that continues to impress me more each day. Every day, it seems, I am finding something new to recommend this MacBook. Just yesterday I learned you can talk to the computer to do any commands you set up.
The OS is great, never have to Defrag again and you never have to worry about the computer slowing down the longer you use it, like the past 5 PC's ive owned. Also, Apple gives you FREE all the tools to build your own applications if you can't find one you like. How COOL is that! It is also the perfect platform to build your iPhone Apps on.
I have to say I personally hate the new WORD from Microsoft. They scattered the menu's across many screens so I cannot find the one I need. I love NeoOffice, the free SUN Openoffice for MAC's because they have the menu.s where they used to be. I guess Microsoft had to change things so everyone would need to send them more money.
Anyway, I digress. This MacBook is light, highly portable, backlit Keyboard, great screen and fast. I thought the screen might be too small as I had been using a 15.4" one but that is not the case. On the old PC there was a lot of wasted space on the left and right but on the Mac, it seems to fill the whole screen. My eyesight is not what it once was but I have no trouble with the screen.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive Incredible machine. The aluminum case feels very strong and solid. The hard drive and memory modules are easy to access for upgrades and the illuminated keyboard is a great feature when working in low light. The aluminum case also helps keep it cool and quiet. iLife applications are great. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive I am really impressed with how easy it was to convert to a Mac Book user after debating over this purchase for months. As a PC desktop and HP laptop user for more years than I care to admit, I am really happy with the Mac product and software. I had concerns about converting to I Works for my spreadsheet, documents and presentation needs for my consulting business, and within two weeks those fears were gone. Great product, great service, and I am now a Mac (and Apple) convert.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive This macbook is my first mac in 20 years. It's great to be back. I've been using windows for so many years now that it's really like using a mac for the first time again.
Overall, I am very pleased with this experience. The hardware is solid and attractive, and very light weight. The only complaint I have is that the smaller screen also means smaller fonts which is not easy for me to get used to. I often find myself bumping up the display size of the text.
I've been having great fun exploring new software titles to find the one that works best for me. NeoOffice is an ok package to get started, although I will likely be finding better replacements over time for each component. VMWare Fusion works great, although surprisingly, I've had little use for it, other than the occasional website that supports only IE.
One important caveat: Expect to spend a lot of time getting used to the new machine (if you're coming from windows) and learning to use all of the features. On the other hand, I've never used a more stable computer. The great part is that I never turn it off! I just close the lid and open it when I need the computer. It's available instantaneously!!! The only other thing is, I would recommend using 4GB RAM if you're using fusion + NeoOffice. I'm going to upgrade soon. Highly recommended.

Pros: perfect for getting your geek on Cons: none at this time
Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz/2GB/250GB/SuperDrive I purchased my first Apple in 1981 reason being that if I wanted to run CPM (Trash 80 OS) I could just plug in a card. In 1988 I switched to a PC mostly for business reasons, now I am retired and if I want to run windows I can just install it. Don't know why I would want to do that though. The MacBook is just a joy to use, don't know why I have waited so long to come back to the Mac. I find the MacBook aluminum runs very cool even under heavy photo file xfer activity. The backlit keyboard is a nice feature and the video is Apple's usual outstanding sharpness and clarity. My Mac came with 2 gigs of ram and even though it has handled everything I've thrown at it I have ordered the 4 gig upgrade. I purchased the Bluetooth mighty mouse, no problems connecting and works well, also bought the DVI adaptor but find it does not do too well on my Samsung 24" monitor but does very well on the Sony 19". I bought Scott Kelby's "The Mac OSX Leopard Book" and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn all the geeky stuff.
