MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive
Evolution is good. From one solid piece of aluminum comes a MacBook that’s thin and light, beautifully streamlined, and durable. The seamless glass and instant full screen brightness of the 13.3-inch LED-backlit display make everything you see flat-out spectacular... including the display itself. Snow Leopard v10.6 is also included.
Advanced nVidia integrated graphics provide more responsive gameplay and more realistic 3D environments, while the redesigned multi-touch trackpad has even more room and the entire trackpad is also the button so it's clickable everywhere.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I should start by saying, I'm not a big gamer nor do I do graphic arts. I use my laptop to write, and it is my primary computer, so I also use it for all my music, etc. So when it came time to look for a new laptop, I wanted one that had a larger hard drive, memory and better processor.
This was a great choice. It's sleek, comfortable and meets all my needs. There's plenty of room for my music, TV shows, and movies. The screen is nice, the battery runs for a good, long time, and the performance has been without a hitch.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive Good solid laptop. Battery life a bit weak. This is my first Mac Laptop. Considered a Macbook Pro but decided on the standard Macbook because: 1 Price, 2 ability to change battery in the future. The apple platform is solid.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I bought my Macbook in mid-July after I had finally saved enough money (the only problem with Macs: they are SO expensive). After two and a half months I can honestly say I am still loving it. The start up time has gotten a little slower, but really, it still cannot be matched by a PC. The battery life is great, my old laptop used to take an hour and a half before it would die without a power cord but my Macbook takes about three and a half to four hours. The feel of it is great too; it is soooo lightweight and so small that I can really take it anywhere. My only problem is with the speakers. It doesn't get as loud as I'd like, but that's because I usually like to use my computer as my music player while I'm cleaning or doing other things and it just doesn't get as loud as I'd like without hearing that crackling sound like I'm doing damage to them.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I have been backpacking in the outback and bush of NSW, SA and Victoria, Australia and I could not be happier with my choice of machine. Since I've had innumerable Macs since 1984 that's saying something. Light, strong and efficient and able to pick up weak Wi-Fi signals when many of my fellow backpackers with their PCs cannot (HA!) and able to sit unconnected and email home 15 posts, each containing at least 25 MB of pictures each, I still have barely enough battery left to send this review.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive This year I have updated my 5+ year old laptops. As with my MacBook Pro purchase earlier this year, the MacBook is simply a stunning laptop experience. The packaging is "Green" & elegant, the "build" of the MacBook is superbly engineered, & the overall functionality exceeds all expectations. Apple has never ceased to amaze me with their products which is why I have been a loyal Apple computer user since the Apple IIC days.
The MacBook exceeds all expectations. The first day I deployed this unit, I made a PPT presentation without a hitch. I received a lot of "oohs & awes" as I set up. Since then, I have run it through my whole gamut of software & daily routines. I have run all software updates & installed all properly licensed software successfully. Data/file migration was simple & efficient.
I am particularly impressed with the "feel" of the keyboard & new trackpad. It is very solid & precise -probably the result of the MB's unibody construction. My only not so positive comment is... I wish it had a backlit keyboard like the MacBook Pro. No big deal because if I can't see the keyboard, then it must be time to shut down for the day.
Despite many less-than-positive comments about the glossy screen, I find it aesthetically elegant and very usable. The screen is bright and colors render accurately.
All of my software including Safari runs "briskly" (relative to my old 12" PowerBook G4). MS Office for Mac has picked up some speed especially @ start up.
The "slim" profile & lighter weight of the MacBook is welcomed since this laptop travels very nicely in my briefcase (relative to my old PB 12"). So far it has traveled very well on three trans-con roundtrips.
All in all, this was a long time coming since I have squeezed 5 years out of my old PowerBook 12". I expect this laptop to be a true business workhorse just like my PB 12.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I have been an Apple advocate since Apple II. This was a gift for my Granddaughter, carrying on the tradition. Machine is wonderful. Screen is clean and crisp. Performance way beyond pedestrian needs. To be able to extend the width of the screen using an additional monitor is breath-taking. Wonderful machine at a great price.
Sincerely, Hal. "In God We Trust"

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive The size, weight, speed, look, and screen are all great on this computer. It is very convenient for flash/jump drives The only downside I can see is that instead of having a five hour battery life connected to the internet, it has around a full three to four hours. Still, better than any PC I've ever had, so I don't know if it's really a con. This computer is quiet and turns on quickly. It is easy to carry around and I love the fact that it shows the remaining battery life on the side of the computer. You press a tiny button on the left-hand side and a certain amount of green dots will light up in accordance with how much battery you have left.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive My son ( confined to a convalescent home) wanted to be able to purchase and sell coins via the internet. The MacBook instantly picked up the provided WiFi and he is able to do all he was wanting to do. The track pad is somewhat difficult for him to use and we intend to get him a mouse to see if that will help. For convenience, user friendliness and reliability I don't think he could have found a better machine,

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I own one. Just bought another one for my daughter. This is the best that Apple has done. Would also recommend that you buy an "INCASE" hardshell to protect your investment. Very bright screen.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive It was all I thought it would be and more. Not only is the machine awesome, but the mac OS is even better. Everything is so fast. Unless you want to play 3D games, the 2.0GHz system with 2GB RAM works great for most applications, even with VMWare Fusion and Windows XP virtual machines.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive Just bought the laptop last week, so far it's seems like a well built machine. 1. No sure the battery life is accurate, says I get 3-4 hours but it does note really go that long. 2. Key board does not light up and it;s hard to see buttons. 3. Clock won't change? Other than that she's good.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive check to see if ILife 09 is included in your shipment. If it is not contact Apple and they will furnish a copy of the software. When I converted the Ilife 09 was over-written with the software from my old Mac G4. The laptop is great and the performance is better than I anticipated.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive Last year, I rejoined the Mac community with an iMac for myself. This year, in getting my daughter ready for college, she asked for a Mac laptop. We went with the 13.3" aluminum. Just like the iMac, getting started was as easy as 1-2-3. Now I find my wife on the couch with my daughters laptop.....guess I'll need to get her one when my daughter heads off to school.
Great product....and great service from MacConnection!
