Reviews & Ratings for HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Printer When the stars are aligned, I get beautiful photos and clear documents from this printer. Any other time, I have to uncheck "Use this printer offline" in my Windows print queue; unplug and replug the printer; reboot my computer; or some other black magic to make the printing start over WiFi. Perhaps if I left both the printer and computer on all the time, the problems would disappear. Perhaps if I didn't have Vista x64, the software would work better (it seemed to do fine with my old XP laptop). All in all, I'm happy with the purchase, since I don't have to connect a USB cable every time I want to print from my laptop, but working the bugs out would've been nice.

Reviews & Ratings for HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Printer performs as well as described. This is my third or fourth home printer. I wasted my money on the others but now I know what a high quality printer can do for me.All functions work very well and it does not guzzle ink. It is easy to use, the price is right and it provides professional level photos and documents. It is well designed which is another important positive for me. I have had no paper jams or any other problems after six months. I am very pleased with it.
My only improvement suggestion would be to have a bigger paper tray. Not a con, just a suggestion.

Pros: fast, reliable
Reviews & Ratings for HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Printer I bought this printer for a home office with fairly light printing needs. We actually use it more for personal stuff than work.
Overall it's superb. Very fast both at printing and at starting-up. Easy to use. Reliable. The inks can be changed quickly. The screen displays status so (for example) you know when to change inks. It works with both my Mac laptop, my wife's Linux laptop and a Windows XP desktop we have. I had problems configuring a Vista computer originally, but solved this by sharing the printer through the Windows XP desktop.
The printer can either be installed connected to a computer, or connected directly to the network. I chose the latter option. It was relatively easy to configure. Print quality for letters etc. is good. The printer can do excellent photo printing too, however I have not used that feature much. It's actually easier to print photos through an online service.
I've had the printer for about a year, and have started needing to replace the cartridges. There are several, so you only need to replace the one that's drained.

Pros: easy setup, easy use Cons: hp software
Reviews & Ratings for HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Printer Print quality is good as is photo quality. Wireless setup easy. Using 3 computers on a network. One needed the IP address of the printer which is available in the printer menus. Supplied software has small issues. No PC generated cover sheet available. Must use one from another source. Also, two sided printing works well BUT the software will tell you it isn't installed even though driver installed and 2 sided selected. If one disregards the message and prints, 2 sided printing works fine. HP solution ultimatley leads to installing software for a different printer. HP needs to fix this softare. WIndows XP on all PC's. Cartriges are easy to install.
