The quality is solid.
Only complaint is that its a bit loud and when it prints it shakes.

The only trouble we had setting it up was loading the software. We tried for 2 hours to get it to work. We then call the HP help desk and worked with them for 4 hours. Their fix was to load software for another model to get our machine to scan. I think that is a little weird. But, it works now so we have a copy of the downloaded program just in case.
