Reviews & Ratings for Final Cut Express 4.0
When you're ready to step up from iMovie but not ready to plunk down $1K or more, Final Cut Express is the ticket. Powerful and accurate editing lets you create masterpieces from your everyday videos. Well, maybe not masterpieces, but at least they'll be well edited. AVCHD support is great, too.

Takes awhile to get up to speed, as some of the controls aren't exactly as you might expect, but once you get the hang of it, your workflow will just flow.

Reviews & Ratings for Final Cut Express 4.0
I am strictly a beginner when it comes to video. I have been using iMovie to assemble family and trip videos. While easy to use, it is somewhat limited. Final Cut provides more accurate editing along with more transitions, flexibility, etc.
It is not intuitive. I found there are several short videos on the apple site that explain the functionality and were very helpful to get up to speed.
