Pros: clever and fast Cons: uses far too much ink
Reviews & Ratings for HP Officejet Pro K8600 Printer I loved my HP cp1700 but it will not work with Vista. I bought the K8600 expecting a similar performance but, whereas the cp1700 did not use much ink, the K8600 is SO thirsty. The claim that it will print 2,480 before the black cartridge runs dry, and 2,480 before the color cartridges run dry is a joke. I have printed a total of 218 sheets and have replaced all the cartridges and am about to replace the yellow again.
