Fairly slow in highest photo mode but blazingly fast in black only print mode due to it's two black ink cartridges.Ink refills high cost so would sugest using refillable cartridges available from various venders.

The cartridges do last a while though. The other thing is that it is pretty loud. It is loud because the paper grabber thing is loud.
