In my quest to find a printer to replace my aging one, I happened on the Epson WorkForce 40 Color Printer. I did a lot of research on the net and at Epson. I liked the idea of using this printer on my SOHO network. This meant that my family could print from a laptop and not have to put the information on a disk or card. It was always, “Honey, I am sending you a file will you print it for me.” You know the drill.
Setting up the printer on the server was easy. Everything seemed to fall into place nicely. Printing is fast and the text as usual is up to the Epson standards. Oh yeah, I am a longtime Epson printer user. Going back to 1995. The days of impact printers. Anyway, being a VAR I recommend Epson printers and configure them for my clients. I did experience a few glitches getting the printer to work wirelessly on the laptop but with a little time and patience everything works nicely. This isn’t to say that you will have problems with the installation. It just means the process didn’t go as smoothly as it did with the server.
Now about PC Connection. This is my first purchase from these people and I didn’t have any problems navigating the site to the product I wanted. The checkout procedure was smooth and effortless and the price was the best I found. I received the product in the time stated and I was pleased that it arrived quickly. I will surely return for other items I need in the future. This is a good place to shop.

This printer took care of my needs for both a printer and print server. Now I don't have to leave a computer running just to be able to print from the laptop.
I considered purchasing a print server to use with an old printer, but this is a much long term and more cost effective option.
PC Connection had the best price by far.
