I order it on a Saturday and received it on Friday. Waited for 6 days and I was excited to open it. Everything was in there and since it was an iMac I was able to set up everything in no time. The 24" screen clear and nice and its slim design doesn't take up to much desk space. The keyboard is also small and doesn't take up a lot of space. I did my research and compared prices with competitors and other places. The best I could find was an equivalent to the one I'm using now. However it was refurbished so I decided that macconnection was the way to go.

I needed something with a larger, higher-res screen for photo/ video editing. While I'm very pleased with almost everything, I will say I was disappointed with the graphics performance as well as the screen quality. While the video card isn't the latest available through Apple, it's still a card with fairly good specs, yet it performs about the same as my last video card I purchased 3 yrs ago. The screen also has an annoying issue with darkened corners and yellowish/ darker whites - though you only notice it with a white background on screen. I've never had another LCD have this, and yet Apple says it's within spec. I should've bought a G5 with a nice monitor - would've been better and cheaper, just not as compact.

I currently own a macbook pro and wanted an additional desktop computer so the kid's would have their own to use. Well move out of the way kids. This computer is great. The screen is unbelievable. Great for doing slideshows and pictures as well as simply checking email. You can see everything! Also it is extremely quiet, quick and easy to use. The improvement to ilife over my '06 version is fantastic! Set up was as easy as 1 2 3. I was up and on the internet in 5 minutes. My only minor complaint was they give you a very wimpy mouse with it. The cord is way too short for the machine so it doesn't really reach.

The build quality is excellent and in keeping with my 9 year old iMac G4 which still runs fine and my 5 year old Powerbook G4, I fully expect to get 7 years of life out of this machine. It is speedy for all daily tasks and anything that isn't hard core video editing. It handles my 20,000 plus photos with ease and makes short work of editing and repairing 100 year old photos in that collection. The screen is a true pleasure to work with and I wish I could use this computer at work rather than the Win XP machine I am forced to use. This particular machine offers a discrete graphics card (HD2600 Pro) which I view as better than the subsequent (current) version that uses the 9400 chipset since it does not share memory with the system RAM. It is also fast enough to run Parallels Desktop to handle the few Window's only applications I need. This is a fantastic product that clearly demonstrates the superiority of Apple products over their competitors.

The screen size on the iMac could not be better, and the computer is very fun to work with! It's super quiet and I just put it to "sleep" when im not going to be on for a while.... The design is the best part, it looks very pro and the screen display is the best I've seen. It shipped in a few days and came boxed up with a TON of packing material. I could not be happier with this purchase and would tell anyone in the market to buy an iMac, it's worth it!
