My husband loved his mac and as my PC was getting slower and slower, we knew that a new computer was needed. I went with the 20" Imac and wow, I am impressed. The screen, its ability, its price, all worth it. Sure I have a learning curve, but I wouldn't blame the computer for my inability to know all the functions. I am learning and its getting easier. I will never go back to a PC.

The Mac OS (Leopard 5.6) is as intuitive as ever and Time Machine makes worrying about backup a thing of the past. The speed of the machine is incredible. What used to take a minute on my iMac G5 now takes less than 20 seconds. The screen quality is defies description; you have to see it for yourself to believe how clear and crisp text and images appear. I would recommend this computer to my best friend and my worst enemy and I'm sure that enemy will become a friend!

I found MAC CONNECTION. The process was quick. The price was the same as apple store plus it recommended the proper after market RAM saving me about $100 dollars. The only thing that i would recommend is that you compare the prices for the add on sales. I payed $50 more the office 2007 for mac than if I had shopped in amazon for the software.
Best purchase is a while!!

Pros: fewer virus attacks, fewer error messages or freezes. iLife package is great for basic photo/movie/music/ manipulation and storage/playback. Intel chip allows Windows XP at native speed for PC-only software. I got the 1GB RAM version and will upgrade with aftermarket memory (4GB for < $100). The Mac-based wireless system is fantastic; with an airport express I an wirelessly link my stereo or printer or a pair of self-powered remote speakers anywhere in my house.!
Cons: The only thing is slightly more expense compared to comparible PC parameters (RAM/Hard Drive/Chip) and I do have a couple of PC-only programs, so I have to install XP. Overall this seems a small price to pay.
