The 80GB ABSplus for the Secondary Bay is an Automatic Backup System that is hot-swappable. You can schedule a backup of your entire hard drive automatically. What’s more, the ABSplus Secondary Bay becomes a fully bootable internal hard drive when inserted into the Ultrabay of select IBM ThinkPad laptop computers. It features a data transfer rate of up to 100MB/s, a 4,200rpm spindle speed, a 2MB buffer and a 13ms average seek time. It's also shock-rated to 800Gs (non-operating, 125G operating) so it can handle the occasional jostle.
