This family of enclosures provides the mechanical housing, power, cooling, and a built-in backplane network into which you can plug Myrinet-2000 switch line cards. The top line-card slot is reserved for an M3-M monitoring line card. The remaining slots are used for port line cards. Any port line card manufactured by Myricom can be used in any port line card slot of any enclosure.
