Equipped with all the features of the original -- copper-to-fiber conversion, plug-andplay operation, miniature size and multiple power options -- IE-MiniMc also supports the IEEE 802.3af Power Over Ethernet (PoE) standard to be a powered device.

When connecting multiple IE-MiniMc units to a power sourcing switch, connect the PSE switch to an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) to ensure the switch and each connected device always have power, allowing use of spare UPS outlets for additional equipment.
