This Warranty Service Upgrade provides three years of hardware repair and remote problem determination for your xSeries 225 server during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (excluding IBM holidays) with a next-business-day response time.

Warranty Service Upgrades can be purchased with the hardware product or at any time during the initial base warranty period. The service period begins with the equipment date of purchase. Service is only available for non-refurbished machines released and purchased in the United States.
