Universal Rack, 78"h x 19"w x 15"d, UL Listed - 48353-502

The Universal Rack is a heavy duty storage solution for patch panels and network switches and can be used with shelves to hold computer servers. It uses less floor space than a cabinet or a four-post rack and can be used in telecommunications rooms or equipment rooms to save floor space and hold heavy equipment. This rack will hold 1,500 lbs. of equipment and is UL Listed as a communications circuit accessory. Equipment attaches to the front or rear of the 3” deep vertical mounting channels with screws. Equipment mounting positions are marked and numbered making it easy to position and install equipment or shelves.

A rack is delivered unassembled in a compact carton and is easy to assemble. The components bolt together with the included hardware in about 10 minutes. Two-post racks must be secured to the building structure. The Universal Rack has pre-punched base angles making it easy to attach the rack to the floor. A CPI installation kit (available separately) should be used for wood, slab or raised floors.
