The IBM 500 GB Dual Port Hot-swap SATA Hard Disk Drive provides dual port function using a state of the art interposer between the HDD and controller. This drive represents the next capacity point in the IBM System x family of SATA HDDs. Each drive is contained in a 3.5-inch wide, 1-inch high, slim-line form factor that allows maximum installations in supported EXP3000 configurations.
