With the ServSelect III, 1 or 2 users can access up to 16 servers and network devices. Plus you can cascade up to 16 ServSelect III units to control up to 128 or 256 servers in your system! Simply put, the ServSelect III is ideal for your IS department when two people need access to multiple servers. This two-user switch comes with a pair of analog port sets to accommodate two monitors and a pair of PS/2 keyboards and mice. With the ServSelect III, both users can control, switch between, troubleshoot, and reboot all connected servers and other ServSwitch units.

Intuitive on-screen menus enable you to configure your system and select servers and other switches. You can easily identify each server by a unique name, ID number, or port number. Three operational modes enable you to manage your switching activities: Scan, Broadcast, and Switch. In Scan mode, the ServSelect III sequentially displays the status of up to 16 servers on-screen. You select which servers are scanned in a sequence and how many seconds each is displayed. In Broadcast mode, a user can simultaneously control more than one server to ensure that all selected servers receive the same input. In Switch mode either user can select and share any server at any time.

The ServSelect III is also flash upgradable, which means it’s built for your system’s future. Upgrade your firmware at any time by using the switch’s simple update utility.
