FortiGate-3000 Series appliance-based platforms offer unmatched performance and flexibility for large enterprise and service provider networks, including network core and data center applications. Wire speed firewall performance is achieved through the innovative new FortiASIC NP-2 network processor which enables firewall throughputs of up to 26 Gbps from a single device. Flexibility is achieved through modular Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC or AdvancedMC) expansion capabilities, which provides hardware accelerated 10 gigabit XFP Ethernet interfaces, as well as gigabit SFP Ethernet interfaces and hard drive storage options. The FortiGate-3810A and the FortiGate-3016B platforms join the FortiGate-3600A to offer a range of options for the large enterprise and service provider.
