The Tripp Lite SM550UNAFTA line-interactive UPS offers complete protection for PCs, workstations and other sensitive electronics in a compact upright tower housing. It prevents data loss and system downtime by providing battery-supported AC output during blackouts and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) during brownout conditions. The unit includes (6) output receptacles, (3) with full battery support and surge suppression to power computers, monitors and other vital system components from loss of power. (3) additional outlets with surge suppression only are ideal for printers and other accessories that do not require battery support.
Single-line RJ-11/RJ-45 suppression jacks protect modems, fax machines, cordless phones or network connetions. The USB port with bundled cable and downloadable PowerAlert software enables a safe, unattended system shutdown. The HID compliant USB interface enables integration with the built-in power management and auto-shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X. Audible alarm and front panel LEDs provide status information regarding line and battery power operation. Front panel switches control power off/on status, self test and alarm silence functions. Its 550VA, 300 watt power-handling ability supports entry-level PCs, home theater equipement and other sensitive electronics during power failures.
